CAFCC: Nigerian Ambassador assures Rivers United of support

The Nigeria Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea H.E Usman Ogah, Friday, pledged his support to Rivers United as the team prepares for the CAF Confederation’s cup 1st leg preliminary round tie against Futuro Kings in Mongomo on Saturday 28th November 2020.

H.E Usman Ogah made the pledge that the teams hotel when he paid a visit to the Rivers United contingent to Equatorial Guinea.

He promised that the team will not lack support as the embassy will ensure that the diplomatic needs of the team are provided as he will personally be at the Estadio de Mongomo to watch the match.

“It is a great thing for me to welcome you to Equatorial Guinea. As you can see for yourself, this is a beautiful country with beautiful people. Let me assure you that we are committed to seeing that you lack nothing and that you succeed in Saturday’ match. To this end, I am putting off every other engagement to be live at the stadium. You have our support”.

Rivers United General Manager Chief Dr Okey Kpaloku in his response thanked the Ambassador for the hospitality and noted that he would work with the embassy to make things easier for the team during their stay in Equatorial Guinea.
